General Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance by all personnel onboard of the QHSE policy, objectives, targets, procedures and programs.
• Support, implement and communicate the company QHSE policies, objectives, targets and annual QHSE plans.
• Managing compliance with class requirements
• Managing the maintenance, inspection and inventory of all life-saving, fire-fighting and navigational equipment.
• Coordinating all aspects of off loading and back loading equipment to or from supply vessels
• Maintaining inventory of deck loads, bulk material, fuel and water.
• Completing the stability work sheet whenever major deck loads change.
• Responsibility for keeping the tender lined up on the platform by maintaining a constant tension or all anchor lines and keeping the anchor winches in good operating condition.
• Responsible for the corrosion management of the tender.
• Management of the safe offloading or back loading of tubulars, general cargo, bulk and liquid materials.
• Transferring cement from bulk storage to surge tanks during cement jobs
• Perform H.L.O. duties as required for helicopter operations

Job Requirements:

• Valid OGUK Medical
• Valid BOSIET Certificate (OPITO Approved)
• Minimum of 10 years of offshore working experience with at least 3 years of experience as Barge Engineer on a Jack-Up Drilling Rig
• Willing to work Worldwide

General Responsibilities:

• Perform daily crane checks and maintenance, and reports in the logbook provided
• Operating the platform crane within its operating parameters during all lifting operations
• Management of the lifting equipment required for the safe and effective operation of the platform crane.
• Assign Roustabout(s) to the cementing unit to assist service personnel with their operation of cementing the casing.
• Remove from service any lifting equipment that is deemed not to be safe for use.
• Maintaining a familiarity with all drilling tools and assisting in checking associated equipment as directed by the Tourpusher.
• Reporting of any defects in drilling or lifting equipment immediately so as to enable repairs to be carried out at the first opportunity.
• Supervise the crew to maintain a high standard of housekeeping of the BOP deck, production area and other delegated areas of the platform
